Everyone today has a smartphone and regularly check what’s new on the social web sites. Among the most popular are Facebook, Hyves and Twitter. Some will claim that Facebook is the best, others will be pro-Hyves and i will take my stand on Twitter.
It is uncommon to hear that someone doesn’t have an account on Facebook or Hyves. Nowadays even our parents have an account on one of these social web sites. However, parents don’t bothers me, what bothers me is the nonsense people post on Facebook and Hyves. I am aware that you choose who your friends are, but sometimes even your friends come up with the dullest post that itch your eyes.
In order to avoid the redundancy of Facebook and Hyves, Jack Dorsey has introduced us Twitter. Here you choose your own friends, people you follow and people you share informations with. Unlike Facebook, where you can’t avoid seeing Bon Jovi music posts and similar ‘heartbreaking’ posts, on Twitter, you can simply scroll them down and not even notice them.
I believe that the thing that does the magic about Twitter are the limited characters you can use. With only 140 characters per post a person has to be really creative. So, my advice is that you choose wisely who you follow on Twitter and thus make every click on Twitter count.
